At 50.8mm expanded diameter, this tube accommodates the largest conductor bundles and cable assemblies and recovers to approximately 25.4mm — a substantial recovered diameter that still provides meaningful mechanical protection and abrasion resistance at full recovery. The 2:1 single-wall construction, qualified to UL 224, excels at abrasion resistance, UV protection, and industrial color coding on large cable trays, panel entry bundles, and outdoor infrastructure in dry-rated environments. For exterior installations requiring a sealed sleeve over large-diameter cables, the 3:1 dual-wall adhesive-lined product is the correct specification. The 60ft roll supplies enough material for a complete industrial project without over-ordering specialty large-diameter sleeving that would otherwise sit idle between major project cycles.

Choose a size where the expanded diameter is 20–30% larger than your wire or bundle. Smaller tubes will slide on easier; slightly oversize is better than too tight.
Cut to length and thread onto the wire before making the splice. The tubing cannot pass over a crimped terminal — position it first, then complete the connection.
Use a heat gun at 90°C or higher for initial shrink, 120°C for full recovery. Work from the center outward. Avoid open flame — it scorches the tubing and creates uneven shrink.
Finished tubing should be tight with no bubbles or lifted edges. No adhesive will appear at the ends — this is single-wall tubing. Confirm even recovery across the full length.
